Description
2026 | Even Then, Even Now: Poems of Persistence by Jen Kindbom
What do we do after the fire, after the flood, after the fear has already taken hold?
In Even Then and Even Now, Jen Kindbom explores persistence not as resilience rhetoric, but as lived practice. These poems move through dreams, domestic spaces, ecological anxiety, and long days shared with another person—where rebuilding is slow, imperfect, and ongoing.
With clear-eyed lyricism and original illustrations, this chapbook offers a companion for readers living in uncertain times. It does not promise resolution. It offers attention, care, and the courage to keep going.
Featuring ten poems paired with ten original digital illustrations, this chapbook moves with precision through a textured daily life.
JEN KINDBOM is the author of CADABRA (Cascadia Publishing House, 2015) and A Note on the Door (Finishing Line Press, 2011).
